The D-Link DSL-200I is an external ADSL modem designed for high-speed Internet access and/or remote connection to a home or office LAN. Designed with the user in mind, the DSL-200I comes with a built in USB 1.1 compliant interface for easy plug and play connectivity and break neck download speeds. It allows a Windows based PC to connect via G.lite or G.dmt  ADSL to a DSL provider.
 
The DSL-200I's single RJ-11 port automatically selects the supported line standard and speed. Rate adaptive technology ensures that the connection between the CPE (Customer's Premise Equipment) and CO (Central Office) is maintained at the highest speed possible. Strict adherence to the relevant ANSI and ITU standards ensures the highest compatibility with providers' Central Office DSL equipment.
